PM Modi 3.0 Cabinet Formation 2024: Nirmala Sitharaman remains the Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs, while Dr. S Jaishankar is guiding India’s relations with other countries as the Foreign Minister. Piyush Goyal oversees the ministries of Commerce and Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution as well as Textiles.

Ashwini Vaishnav, known for his progress, is still the Minister of Railways, Communications and Electronics and Information Technology. Retaining these ministers in their roles maintains continuity in the plans and actions of the government.

Narendra Modi was sworn in as the Prime Minister of India for his third consecutive term on Sunday at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in an impressive ceremony attended by leaders from India’s neighbourhood and the Indian Ocean region.

President Droupadi Murmu administered the oath of office to PM Modi, who was seen wearing a full-sleeved white kurta with churidar and a blue half jacket, followed by other members of his team of ministers.

PM Modi’s previous two terms have been characterized by key initiatives such as Ayushman Bharat, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, Housing for All, Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Man Dhan Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana, PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, UDAN, and Make in India. He has also focused on creating next-generation infrastructure, expediting pending projects, and promoting environmental conservation.

Prime Minister Modi has once again led the BJP to victory in the Lok Sabha elections, winning for the third time in a row.

The party won an absolute majority on its own in 2014 and 2019. Modi’s vision is to transform India into a developed country by 2047. He is relying on his expertise to lead the country unaffected by international challenges.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who recently began his third consecutive term as the country’s leader, allocated tasks to each of the 71 members of his team a day after being sworn in. The first meeting of the new Union Cabinet took place at the PM residence in the evening.

  1. Prime Minister Narendra Modi holds the charge of the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions as well as the Department of Atomic Energy and the Department of Space.
  2. Amit Shah – Ministry of Home Affairs; Ministry of Cooperation
  3. Rajnath Singh – Ministry of Defence
  4. Nitin Gadkari oversees the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways as well as the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers.
  5. JP Nadda is in charge of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
  6. Shivraj Singh Chouhan handles the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and the Ministry of Rural Development.
  7. Nirmala Sitharaman heads the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
